Alexandra Scott, EA, founder of Refuge Tax Relief, brings more than 20 years of full-cycle accounting, business tax, and financial management experience to her work representing taxpayers.
As an Enrolled Agent, Alexandra is federally authorized to represent taxpayers before the IRS. Her extensive accounting background gives her a unique perspective when resolving complex tax matters: she understands not only the tax problem, but the business operations, financial decisions, and circumstances behind it.
Alexandra has worked with businesses and taxpayers across all 50 states and virtually every entity type. “Are you a licensed tax professional that is legally eligible to offer me tax advice, or are you a salesman?”
This is by far the single most important question you should ask anybody trying to offer you tax advice. If they are a salesperson, I highly encourage you to run quickly in the opposite direction.
